Vitor Cavadas

Vítor Cavadas graduated from the Oporto Medical School in 2002. After a two-year general internship at S. João Hospital, he undertook the residency in Urology at Santo António General Hospital, in Oporto. He then became a consultant at the Urology Department of the same hospital in 2011, becoming Head of the Stone Unit shortly after. At the moment, he also leads the Lithiasis Working Group of the Portuguese Association of Urology. His main interests are stone management and conservative treatment of upper tract tumors and is frequently involved in Live Surgery and Educational events in these areas like the eGrand Rounds promoted by the SIU.
