Avelino Fraga

Dr. Avelino Fraga is the Head of the Department of Urology at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Porto and Head of Experimental Surgery at the University of Porto in Portugal, where he focuses on the development of minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopic and focal treatments).

Dr. Fraga is also Professor of Urology of the Biomedical School of Medicine at the University of Porto. His research focuses on biomarkers in urologic cancers, with emphasis on prostate cancer. He has more than 100 publications and communications on this subject.
