Ahmet Yaser Müslümanoğlu

Dr. Ahmet Yaser Müslümanoğlu is a Professor of Urology at the Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey, the largest medical academic institution in the country. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Istanbul Bagcilar Research and Training Hospital. He has several teaching assignments, including the member of executive board of surgical internship.

Dr. Müslümanoğlu has helped his home departments and institutions to standardize and advance endourology, laparoscopy and, recently, robotic surgery. Dr. Müslümanoğlu has been involved in scientific and educational activities of the Turkish Endourological Society, where he previously served as President. In addition, he works as an Associate for the European Association of Urology Section of Urolithiasis.

Dr. Müslümanoğlu is an experienced speaker, moderator, trainer and has performed live surgery demonstrations in several national and international urology meetings. He has published more than 50 peer reviewed scientific papers and several book chapters specifically in the field of urinary stone disease and minimally invasive urological surgery. Currently, he leads a team which has performed over 4000 percutaneous, over 2000 retrograde intrarenal and over 300 robotic surgeries.
