Dr. Yuruk is Professor of Urology. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa
School of Medicine. During his early career, his professional interest was mainly focused on
endourology and urinary stone disease. He has a great scientific and surgical experience on
treatment and prevention of urinary stone disease with a special focus on minimally invasive
treatment modalities and endourology. Upon completion of his robotic surgery training, his
professional interest shifted towards prostate & kidney cancer and robotic surgery. He has
been involved not only in the treatment of patients but also in the training of fellows and
residents.

He has published several papers in international journals. He served as an invited
faculty and member of scientific committees in several national and international meetings
and gave presentations on urolithiasis, prostate cancer, kidney cancer and robotic surgery.
He organized several meetings and workshops on minimally invasive surgical techniques in
treatment of kidney cancer, prostate cancer and urinary stone disease.

He is still serving as the Associate Editor of Turkish Journal of Urology.
