Dr. Mauro Gacci is Medical Director in the Department of Urology at the Univeristy of Florence, with a clinical and research focus on minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery for benign and malignant prostatic disease. He obtained his medical degree and residency training from the University of Florence and in 2012 he received his national teaching qualification as Associate Professor.
Dr. Gacci has authored more than 300 publications and is the recipient of several prizes and awards from international meetings and events. He has authored guidelines on LUTS/BPE for the European Association of Urology (EAU), International Consultation of Urological Diseases (ICUD) and Société International d’Urologie (SIU). He is a reviewer for several urologic and non-urologic journals.
